The name of the person arrested by Varachha police station of Surat city is Santosh Chauhan. Santosh Chauhan works as a garbage collector.
Drunk Santosh Chauhan had gone to collect garbage outside a toilet in Baroda Prestige area of Varachha police station area, when he saw a 12-year-old minor girl.
Called the girl near the toilet on the pretext of giving chocolates and then raped her.
When the cry of the girl reached the ears of the people passing by, they caught Santosh on the spot and handed him over to the police. Hearing the incident of the girl, her mother reached the police station and lodged an FIR.
After the public caught the accused and handed him over to the police, the accused has been formally arrested. Day by day, serious criminal incidents like murder, robbery and rape are increasing in Surat city, seeing that there is no fear of Khaki in Surat.
