Geneva Motor Show: While there is no word
from auto manufacturers about their
attendance at the event, the event is expected
to represent a return to normality.
With the Geneva Motor Show being cancelled
back in 2020, the 2021 edition, too, was given a
miss due to the pandemic and lack of
participants
The show however, is finally slated to return in
2022.
Back in 2020, organisers had hinted that the
Geneva Motor Show was set to return in 2021
with a few changes in its format.
It was expected that the show would now be a
mix of physical as well as virtual events keeping
in mind the new normal that was setting in
because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show in 2022, however, is expected to
remain in its normal physical form.
The dates have officially been set for between
February 17 and 27.
While there is no word from auto
manufacturers about their attendance at the
event, the event is expected to represent a
return to normality.
The Geneva Motor Show was sold to Palexpo SA
after the Foundation of the Geneva
International Motor Show (FGIMS) turned
down a 14.1 million pound loan from the state
of Geneva.
