Srinagar: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti has demanded an apology to Jammu and Kashmir's LG Manoj Sinha over the Hyderpora encounter. Mehbooba said that she should not only apologize but those involved in the encounter should also be punished.

Mehbooba Mufti said, 'Innocent people were killed in the Hyderpora encounter. Since the Lieutenant Governor is the head of the Unified Command, he should apologize to the families of those killed. Along with this, the blot of being terrorist or hybrid terrorist or associate of terrorists should be removed. They should give compensation to the family members by returning Aamir's body and apologize to the people of Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti alleged that the country is being run on the agenda of BJP-RSS. He said, 'There are no rights here. He trampled on the Constitution by abrogating Article 370. The country or Jammu and Kashmir is not running according to the constitution. It is being run under the agenda of BJP-RSS, whose aim is to crush the minorities. There is more persecution here because J&K is a Muslim majority state.
