Panic of Omicron: If someone has set up a detective agency, then there is a preparation to cut the pension

Restrictions are being imposed again in many countries

Paris: In the midst of increasing cases of infection in Europe from the delta variant of Kovid-19 and concerns about Omicron, the governments of many countries of the world have started imposing different restrictions, intensifying the vaccination drive. People over the age of 60 who refuse to take the vaccine in Greece may have to pay more than a third of their pension in the form of fines. Due to the new variant of the corona virus, Omicron, in Israel, the potential carrier of the virus can be monitored by the spy agency. At the same time, incidents of violence are also happening in the Netherlands regarding restrictions.

Britain made it mandatory for people to wear masks in shops and on public transport two days ago. Now all the people coming from abroad will have to undergo Kovid-19 test and stay in isolation. Senior citizens in Greece may have to pay a fine of up to $113 for not taking the anti-Kovid-19 vaccine. Despite all the efforts of the government, about 17 percent of people over 60 years of age in Greece have still not taken the vaccine. Out of 10 deaths due to Kovid-19 in the country, 9 people are above 60 years of age.

Being monitored by phone

In Israel, the government this week allowed the use of phone surveillance technology to trace contacts of people infected with Omicron. Israeli human rights groups say the use of technology is a violation of privacy. Whereas the top court there this year ordered limited use of this technology. South Africa had previously imposed curfews and restrictions on the sale of alcohol, this time with President Cyril Ramaphosa urging more people to get vaccinated.

China still worried

On the other hand, US President Joe Biden has said that his country will continue to take steps against Kovid-19 and the new variant. Restrictions and lockdowns will not be imposed, but steps like vaccination, taking booster doses, increasing testing will be emphasized. Biden has said, 'If people take the vaccine and keep wearing masks, then there is no need for a lockdown.' China is also not feeling the need to impose new restrictions due to Omicron. Wu Junyu, head of the epidemiological unit of China's Center for Disease Control, said that 'our public health system is able to deal with it effectively.'
